Every now and then you come across a watch that sticks with you. Not because of extreme specs or flashy design, but simply because everything is right. The Pitzmann Overture is such a watch. Simple, well made, and with a few clever details that make all the difference.

From spontaneous purchase to lasting favorite

The Overture didn’t come onto the radar because of a planned purchase, but because of a big discount. Normally, the watch retails for around €600 – which, for me personally, is quite steep for a quartz. But when it was given a 50% discount, it suddenly became an interesting option. It even ended up being a gift, which made the watch even more valuable.

The Overture is a quartz watch with an ETA high precision quartz movement – known for its reliability. This model loses or gains ±10 seconds per year , which in practice means you hardly have to look at it. The battery lasts for about 68 months .

Design and wearing comfort

The dial is calm and stylish. The ivory dial and red second hand variant provides just enough character without being flashy. The finish is neat, and the case and strap feel solid.

The micro-adjustment button on the clasp is handy – especially if you want to wear the watch a little looser or tighter without immediately removing links. Such a detail makes all the difference in daily use.

Different styles

The Overture comes in multiple colors and two styles: a more classic version with date and a more playful version with a “raindrop” texture on the dial. Something for everyone.

Strikingly subtle

Although the watch is not designed to stand out, it still attracts positive attention. During a shoot, it even caught the eye of someone in the bike industry – an unexpected confirmation that the watch simply looks good.
